Journaling is a great way to express feelings and get creative. However, it can be hard. I mean, who has time or energy to write down your thoughts? So, here are some tips on how to journal.

Tip #1:

Start with music. Put on some music to get you motivated or music to help you relax. Try to base the choice on your mood. For example, if you are feeling happy and excited, put on some dance music. If you are feeling calm and collected, put on some jazz music.

Tip #2:

Put all distractions away. Put away distractions such as your phone, computer, books (maybe thats just me:/), or anything else that could cause you to drift off. This will help you to stay focused. Out of sight, out of mind.

Tip #3:

Write in an inspiring journal. Write in something that represents you or makes you feel motivated. This will make you want to write neat, and will make you want to journal. If you are writing in a regular composition notebook, you will probably end up writing messy and will lose all intrest.

Tip #4:

Make it a daily thing. Don't do it once a week. Work it into your schedual. Wheather that is in the morning, or before you go to bed, make time. A study actually shows that if you are more of a morning person, write in the night, and if you are more of a night owl, write in the morning.

That's all! Hope you enjoyed! Love you!
